The Quality Score is calculated as follows:
Quality Score = (Qp - R1 - 0.25 * R2) / Qp * 100
The Quality Score is equal to the total number of pieces processed (Qp) minus the total number of pieces rejected for hardware (R1) minus 0.25 times the number of pieces rejected for documentation (R2) divided by the total number of pieces processed (Qp) times 100. Material rejected during source inspection or rejected during our manufacturing process which was not received during the reporting period may not be included in the total number of pieces processed. This makes it possible for the number of pieces rejected to be greater than the number of pieces processed.
The Delivery Score is the percentage of lots received on time to contract due date. A lot is considered on time if it is received up to 7 days after the contract due date. If the material was received between 4/1/99 and 6/30/99, this grace period is extended to 21 days. Only lots received at a Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control - Orlando sites are included.
The responsiveness score is based on a survey performed by our procurement and quality organizations. Responsiveness is evaluated only for those suppliers determined as potential preferred suppliers by our procurement and quality organizations.
The process control score is based on a survey performed by our procurement and quality organizations. Process control is evaluated only for those suppliers determined as potential preferred suppliers by our procurement and quality organizations.
The business assessment score is based on a survey performed by our procurement and quality organizations. This survey may be based on an on-site assessment, previous interaction with the supplier, or any combination of the two. The business assessment is performed only for those suppliers determined as potential preferred suppliers by our procurement and quality organizations
